NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF DENTON BOARD OF APPEALS

The Town of Denton Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Monday,
November 9, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Denton Town Office, 4 North Second Street, Denton, Maryland, regarding the following petition #BOA-26-002 for a Special Exception:
A petition received from The Carol House, LLC, for property located at 1005 Market Street, Denton, Maryland, Caroline County Tax Map 103, Parcel 525, zoned General Commercial (GC). Applicant seeks a Special Exception for a multifamily dwelling in the General Commercial (GC) Zoning District pursuant to Denton Town Code §128-87. Per Denton Town Code §128-180, the Board of Appeals may grant a special exception for the multifamily dwelling if the proposed use is consistent with the Denton Town Code §128.
The application is scheduled to be reviewed by the Denton Planning Commission on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Denton Town Office. All citizens are invited to attend or comment.
