The Town of Denton Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, April 12, 2021, at 6:30 p.m., at the Denton Town Office, 4 North Second Street, Denton, Maryland, regarding the following petition #BOA-21-001 for a Special Exception:
A petition received from Eugene Hicks for property located at 1233 Painted Fern Road, Denton, Maryland, Caroline County Tax Map 104, Parcel 991, Lot 68, zoned Suburban Residential (SR). Applicant seeks a Special Exception for an intermediate care home pursuant to Denton Town Code §128-163 (J). According to Denton Town Code §128, Appendix VII, Official Table of Use Regulations, an intermediate care home may be permitted as a special exception by the Board of Appeals.
The application is scheduled to be reviewed by the Denton Planning Commission on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at 6:00 p.m., at the Denton Town Office. Due to the COVID-19 public health safety precautions, public access to the meeting room is limited and must be requested 24-hours in advance of the hearing. The hearings are open electronically to receive public comments using an online chat feature.
