At the November 7, 2024 Town Council meeting, the Council read the proclamation into the record proclaiming November as Municipal Government Works Month in Denton. #MGWMONTH
Each year the town participates by flying the MGWM flag, presenting a proclamation, visiting Denton Elementary school and teaching students about local government and how each department works, and attending community events. Town council and staff also attend annual MML meetings to keep up to date on the latest and quickly changing information regarding Maryland laws that affect our citizens.
