  During the April 4, 2024 Town Council meeting, Councilman Johnson presented CASA of Caroline and Caroline County Department of Social Services with proclamations recognizing April as Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness month. At the February 1, 2024 Town Council Meeting Cpl. Christopher McMullen of the Denton Police Dept. received a Chief’s Citation for outstanding community service. Thank you for going above and beyond the call off duty to help citizens in need.  

At the February 1, 2024 Town Council Meeting, Paula Wright, President of Downtown Denton Main Street, introduced the new Main Street Manager, Jessica Willoughby to the Council and Staff.

On January 25th Town staff attended the grand opening ribbon cutting of The Spot. Congratulations to His Hope Ministries on the expansion of their programming.    

  At the January 4, 2024 Town Council Meeting Robin Lahnemann from the Denton Finance Department was recognized with a citation award for Outstanding Employee of 2023.
