Water Interruption Notice

Dear Residents and Business Owners,

On Wednesday August 6, 2025, starting at approximately 9a.m., water service will be interrupted for

1 1/2 to 2 hours in the areas listed below.

The purpose of this shutdown is to remove a fire hydrant.

Areas affected:

-Gay St. from 10th to 6th St.

-N. 8th St. from Market St. to Lincoln St.

-N. 7th St. from Market St. to Lincoln St.

-Possible Lincoln St. from 6th to 8th St.

We will do everything possible to minimize the inconvenience of this shutdown and we thank you for your patience and understanding.

Roadwork on Foy Road Begins July 14th

Please be advised, there will be road work taking place Monday, July 14th, on Foy Road in Denton.

Please use caution in the area and obey all detour and flagger signs. There will be one lane open during the duration of the work.

The work should take approximately 1 week, weather permitting.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we improve this roadway.

Denton Planning Commission Vacancy

The Planning Commission is a permanent working group made up of five individuals and one alternate who are appointed by the Town Council to review and act on matters related to planning and development of our Town.

The Planning Commission recommends goals and policies to the Town Council for directing and managing future growth and development. In addition, the Planning Commission reviews site plan and subdivision applications.

Applicant must be a resident of the Town of Denton and be able to attend regularly scheduled monthly meetings on the last Tuesday of the month and workshops as needed on the second Tuesday of the month.
