At the November 6, 2025 Town Council Meeting, The Council read a proclamation into the record for Municipal Government Works Month. This annual designation is part of the Maryland Municipal League (MML) annual campaign. As part of this campaign, the Council flies the Government Works flag in November, visits the Denton Elementary School 4th graders and talks to them about how government works, and attends multiple MML conventions and training.
