Code Enforcement Officer
The Town of Denton is accepting applications for FT Codes Enforcement Officer. Min. starting salary of $27.65 per hr.
Min. qualifications – HS Grad. or GED, to include a course in computer operations and completion of an apprenticeship (3 years) in one of the building trades or suitable thereof; one year at journeyman level & one year administrative.
Requirements - A valid Class C Driver License; ICC Certifications to perform inspections are required or must be obtained as such - IPMC w/in 6 months of hire date. Â IRC w\in 12 months, ICC w/in 18 months, IBC w\in 30 months. Must be able to pass pre-hire drug/alcohol test and preliminary background check. Position is subject to random testing.
