Chief George Bacorn and Councilman Taylor hold the Caroline Goes Purple proclamation.   At the September 4, 2025 Town Council Meeting, The Town Council read and presented the annual Caroline Goes Purple proclamation. Each Year we recognizes this month along with Caroline County, who offers training for substance use awareness and prevention to the public.

At the January 2, 2025 Town Council Meeting, Dr. Lester Branson was sworn in as a Town Councilman by Ms. Karen Monteith, Clerk-Treasurer.  He received 205 votes during the November 2024 election and will serve an additional 5-year term. Congratulations Councilman Branson!

At the January 2, 2025 Denton Town Council Meeting, Chief George Bacorn received a proclamation on behalf of the Denton Police Officers for National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on January 9th. He was presented the proclamation by Councilman Keith Johnson.
