During the January 2, 2025, Town Council meeting, two Police Officers were sworn in.
Officer Ben Mitzel is returning to the Denton Police Department after resigning last year. He was sworn in by the Town’s Clerk-Treasurer, Ms. Karen Monteith and accompanied by Chief George Bacorn.
Lieutenant Jeff Jackson is returning to the Denton Police Department to serve in the newly established Office of Accountability.  He was sworn in by the Town’s Clerk-Treasurer, Ms. Karen Monteith and accompanied by Chief George Bacorn.
