New Sewer rates were adopted Sept. 6, 2018 by Ordinance #694 . The new rates will become effective for the quarterly billing period beginning Sept. 2018 and will appear in the billing issued Jan. 1, 2019. On Dec. 6, 2021 the Water Meter Fee for properties connecting a 1″ service line was increased by Ordinance #723. Special Assessment Ordinance #412 and water ordinance #416 was adopted 7/1/2002.

All utilities are billed quarterly, January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1.
Usage for the Jan., Feb. & Mar. are billed on the April 1st billing.
Usage for Apr., May & June are billed on the July 1st billing, and so on.

State of Maryland Bay Restoration Fund Fee- The BRF is billed quarterly along with the Town’s water/sewer billing.

  All accounts with a water meter that is 1″ or less in size will be billed $10.00 per quarter water meter replacement fee. Accounts that have a larger meter will be responsible for the cost of a new meter at the time of replacement. This cost will be based on the actual meter purchase price.
